In Honor of Those No Longer With Us

May 18th, 2009

Most of the great teachers that are the founders of present day spiritual paths and holistic health systems are no longer with us. Some of these greats are Lu Dong Bin, Kuan Tzu, Siddhartha, Pantanjali, Fools Crow, Kane-apua, St. Francis, Rumi, Kuan Yin, and many more. They all came to teach and live by example. When the work was done they swiftly transitioned. What they left us with were guidelines that would lead us to an exalted state of being.

In this day and age it seems the message of these folks has been lost or ignored. Remember these people came as TEACHERS. Teachers guide and educate, so those that submit themselves as students can utilize the knowledge for great gains in many facets of life. One facet in which the students should emulate the teachers is in thought and deed. By doing so we rise to the level in which they exist.

I ask….”Who is truly emulating the past guides today?” I see no one. Even Jesus of Nazareth said that we could do what he did and even greater things. It is claimed he walked on water, transmuted water to wine (not just by adding some yeast and sugar with grape juice), and rose from the dead. I haven’t seen any of that, even amongst Christians. Siddhartha taught what is a science and stated that all should be verified by personal efforts (all I see is monks debating and hand slapping). Lao Tsu taught how to have a society in line with the Tao (all I see is countries with greedy politicians that were voted into office by the victimized).

If you are to honor the true masters you must follow their example. These folks were very intent and intense. Heck, Siddhartha only ate “3 grains of rice” for three years to test austerities practice. These people became masters because they put it all on the line. Much like a modern world class athlete or an academic working toward earning a PhD. If you do not put in the time and effort you cannot expect much for your meager efforts. I do not know how many people likely answer a silly text message when they should be working on detachment in meditation practice. When you go to work you will follow the rules set forth to be successful. Yes? Then why not follow the rules set forth by the teachers whom have given you the info that will lead to universal liberation in the same way as your company you work for?

Follow the example of the past teachers. Capture their spirit and adapt it to your life situation. Put the knowledge given to you to work and only then can you say you are honoring and remembering them.

The Life Force Thief

May 7th, 2009

Many people claim to know a lot about “energy”. Many people will talk about the energy of the universe and how it permeates us all and how it is so abundant. If this simplistic view were true, than why are so many people plain worn out and tired. Why do so many people, even in their early 20’s, need to fill up on liquid nitrous oxide by way of “energy drinks” and caffeine? The truth is most people who think they can use the lingual, really are clueless. They will tell you how abundant the universe is and then in the same sentence tell you how they cannot go to public places with lots of people because the “vibrations” unbalance them.
In the ancient writings of Chinese spiritual culture, the translation for “energy” was “no fire”. This “fire” represented desire. Desires cause friction because desires are never truly satisfied (if you disagree take away what you have achieved and see how you react). They are just replaced by others desires. As the nature of life takes hold some desires are fulfilled and some are not. Friction builds with each desire, especially those that are not fulfilled. Friction causes heat and heat consumes. What this heat of consciousness consumes is your life force.
It can be very difficult to let go of present desires. Usually it is good to start with the past. You say, “Why start with the past because it is already forgone”? Most people have not let go of past desires related to past events. Try an experiment. Think of a situation for a whole week that did not go your way. See if you react emotionally to it. If you do at any point in that week you still have desires related to that event. At this point apply logic. Such as;

1.This event is past and cannot be changed.
2.Letting go of the past will allow me to be more present.
3.Relationships that I enter into will be better served by being aware of the past but not emotionally applying those experiences in the here and now.
4.Letting go will give me a feeling of actual physical bliss and lightness.
5.Only children dwell on the past.

This list above is just an idea to help you construct your thinking in such a way that you liberate yourself to be present. It will not be easy with some experiences. Persevere for the benefits are infinite. If you develop this skill of letting go you are preparing yourself to be great in the eyes of demons, humans, angels, and gods alike.

Walking In The Light Of Clarity

April 27th, 2009

Is it possible to have a clear perception of your life? If so, how do you realize this state of clarity? Clarity can be defined as a condition of being clear and to be clear is to be without confusion. Knowing what the definition of clear means leads to the question, “What are the components of my life that require Clarity?” If you analyze your life, or anyone’s life for that matter, you will find the components of ; Social Interaction, Education, Nutrition & Meal Preparation, Exercise, Personal Development, Aging, Finances, Government, Esoteric Phenomena, Religion, and Spirituality.

Having analyzed the above list ask yourself, “Have I been clear in those areas?” If in the deepest of inner truth you cannot say yes then you have not been clear about your life and possibly many decisions you have made and are likely going to make.

Why have you not been clear? It does not matter because by participating in this information portal you will be introduced to some of the greatest guides from the ancient and modern world. These guides taught how to truly navigate this world skillfully and joyfully. What these guides taught was timeless, consistent, and uplifting. Nothing will be held back and I will always share the secrets with you no matter how common or profound they may be.

To walk in the light of clarity is to walk with the eyes and ears of wisdom. In the conventional sense wisdom is being of sound mind and making accurate judgments based on; knowledge, experience, and understanding. In the esoteric universal view, wisdom is the realization of the source and the interaction of interdependent causation.

Life always presents more than one view. At Wisdom Realm you will presented with various views and shown how they integrate into a great path. Once the wisdom of the universe and you are one in the same you will be one who walks in wisdom a “Wisdom Walker”.

The Coming PART 1

April 2nd, 2009

As time passes and the world appears to be headed toward a black hole of suffering, the talk of Messiahs becomes more common amongst the religious. The definition of Messiah is anyone whom appears and liberates the people/country from destruction. If you research various religious philosophies, you will find most of them speaking of a savior to come. This being may be of divine origin and will save the people from self destruction and evil. Once this being appears and battles the “great evil” there will be peace on earth for many years. This being is supposed to appear only after great suffering from human choices that lead to deteriotion.

Some of the various messiahs that are to come from various religions are; Jesus(Christianity), Meshiack (Judaism although some that adhere to Judaism believe Jesus to be the Messiah although it is not the standard belief), Imam Mahdi (Islam), Maitreya (Buddhism), Kalki (Hinduism), Saoshyant(Zoroastrianism), The True Man (Confucianism and Taoism). This may not be an all inclusive list but, it gives you a sense of how many people believe that a savior is coming. One challenge with this Messiah concept is the timeline. None of these schools of thought give an accurate sense of when the Messiah will come and some do not give a time at all. This situation leaves much to be interpreted. Some of the schools of thought do state general conditions where which the messiah will make manifest itself, yet even that can be left to personal perspective. What may be dire straits for one may not seem too bad to others and so on.

The question now is how to make heads or tales out of the concept of a Messiah. What I will do is give you some food for thought as too how you can look at the savior concept from a holistic view. I will cover; common concepts on the coming of a messiah, preparations, and the intrinsic factor. Till next light.

The Coming: PART 2

April 1st, 2009

In most religions or spiritual philosophies there is talk of a coming savior. The coming of the various prophesied saviors is to happen after there had been great deterioration of human life on many levels due to rampant forces of darkness have had a great impact. After people have mostly lost hope and their way the savior is to appear. Once the savior makes himself known he overcomes the forces of darkness and ushers in a new era of peace and harmony. Usually the saviors are male and a re-incarnation of the previous great teacher or God incarnate (which does have some truth and symbolism mixed together).

Let us take a look at the deterioration of society from the perspective or various spiritual schools using the Christian 10 commandments. I will use this set of guidelines because it is a good barometer of how well you or a society is governing behavior.

The 10 commandments are:

1.

You shall have no other gods before me.
2.

You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
5.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6.

You shall not murder.
7.

You shall not commit adultery.
8.

You shall not steal.
9.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Looking at the listing and how societies are functioning, we are far from measuring up to these basic requirements. You see adultery at an all time high, so much so that there are shows on mainstream television portraying such lifestyles as almost glamorous. Do not become twisted about this last line. Sex is not wrong in the universal sense. But, if you understand the requirements for what it takes to transcend the desire realm to everlasting bliss you would know the challenges extreme desires for sexual encounters pose. Sex is certainly natural and necessary for propagating human life. However, to cultivate the true means to become more than human while still having a body of flesh but your body of flesh must take on the properties of a higher existence. When you experience higher inner cell bliss you will have no desire for human level intimacy because your experience of pleasure has been upgraded to something better.

Many of the commandants basically point to resting your mind in the creator. But, remember in the first book of the bible the world was without form and void. It is this void that you find the true potential of all manifestations. It is the void that the true God rest in nothingness.

When thinking of how far off we are as a species from the behavior of a spiritually centered way of life you would think someone needs to put life back into perspective. This observation through the ages has resulted in the desire for a savior.

With deterioration of societies you may be wondering why a savior has not appeared. All things come to pass when the conditions are right. Although there are beings of great power and influence they still have to work along side the law of cause and effect. If the conditions are not able to support a great spiritual leader/teacher then she/he cannot appear. Since it appears that life must hang by a thread in order for a Messiah to appear we are not to that level………. yet.

The Coming: Part 3

March 29th, 2009

Many religious philosophies do stress the returning of their great spiritual teacher at a time of impending doom. With this concept also comes the ways you must prepare yourself to receive this savior and be in good graces with him or her. Many of the preparations follow the basic tenets of the respective school of thought. Since many of them have similar rules and practices I will analyze some of them from a few angles using the Ten Commandments as a template.

You shall have no other gods before me.

This is the first commandment. Why? According to Buddhism there are many gods in many stations of existence in many realms each, with who knows how many levels of life. If this is true how could a person choose to be monotheistic if gods are plentiful? First, the original god or source supersedes all other manifestations. This original source is the key to liberation but, you must understand what it means to be a source to all manifestation. There are two basic aspects of reality. That which has never been born an that which is made manifest. The manifest depends on the not born for existence because to exist is to be dependent. That which is never born needs no support and therefore is everlasting. It is that unborn state that can have no other before it, for it is not. To truly realize this original source you also realize that there can never be any god or thing before it because it has always been and not been.

This second one is complicated and would require me to likely offend someone so I will only address it in live lectures where those attending are willing to hear something very different but true.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Relates to the second one as well and therefore cannot be addressed in general public.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Think of how important it is for you to get a handle on your spiritual practice. All week you work for the impermanent without thinking how what you are working for will last but a season. This life will bear fruit and that fruit may decide your existence for what seems like eternity. With so much at stake why do you live as if when you pass on, nothing of this life comes with you? What spiritual practice and living does for you is give you a chance to be the master moving the pawns as opposed to being the pawn. Becoming the masters of your destiny takes commitment but your commitment will reap rewards beyond your current level of understanding.. If this was not so, you would be nodding instead of shaking your head. To take at least one day a week and focus on the eternal is actually a joke, but it beats doing nothing. True spiritual attainment allows you to be in a state of reverence at all time no matter what you are doing, much a like a Mage manipulates elements with no effort.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

It is said that a child could never repay the debt owed, so to at least try is necessary. If you are fortunate to have or have had wise parents, they likely are an asset to you because they have done most of what you are about to do, or are in the process of. To not honor them and yourself is a display of ignorance that can set you back many years in your evolution. Not to say are parents our created equal because sometimes the learning is by observing and doing the opposite. Wisdom tells you which scenario applies.

You shall not murder.

No explanation needed unless you request one.

You shall not commit adultery.

This is a long post so I will be brief. Too much focus on material pleasures clouds your drive for spiritual pleasure and ultimately transcendence. That is all I will say for now.

You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

The last three I lumped together because they are very clear. When people and societies behave contrary to the last three commandments, anarchy soon follows.

It is time you have a personal revolution against all things that will trap you in the cycle of unconscious living.

The Coming: PART 4

May 2nd, 2009

Many people interpret the coming of a messiah as a pure external event. For years people have been trying to pen down a possible time when a messiah will appear. People have turned to books in the bible, ancient scrolls from deep caverns, peoples in trances speaking for some supposed supernatural being, and the list goes on. This activity has spawned a whole industry based on prophecy. What people are failing to see are the layers contained in the messiah concept. There are external factors and internal factors to the whole of this messiah worshiping. One will leave you in limbo while the other will set you free.
It is true that sages will continue to show up on the scene of the human drama. For this to take place the conditions must support such a happening. If a group of people have not the karma for a sage to appear, it simply does not transpire. Human culture has waxed and waned. During times of ripeness, a sage appears and brings with him/her the power to have millennial lasting influence. Then the cycle begins again. The challenge with waiting for this to happen is, you have no control of how or if this appearance will come to pass. It may happen when you do not have a body that will allow you to benefit from the appearance of a sage. For as person who is seeking, you will not be satisfied with playing the waiting game.
In you there is already sage waiting to be born. Do not take that literally unless you are familiar with taoist terminology. It has always been there. It has no form but is the reason you have form. For you it is your real messiah. Think about it. If Jesus came today and you had not been praying and working on your inner demons, what would he be able to do for you? Nothing. No matter how you slice it, you are the one that saves you. Sages, Teachers, Avatars,…….what ever you wish to call them, have already given you the message. Are you actually following the message of doing greater things or are you still sitting on the porch watching the birds fly by, wondering why those birds are being more than you?
To realize your inner messiah is very difficult because it requires total refinement of the triune self. Your body must be disciplined. Many sages were martial arts practitioners because of the purifying affect on the body. If you are flabby and looking like a walking potato, your chi channels will not clear. The fat “Buddha” is just a mistake in translation. It does not represent the beautiful perfection of a reward body. Your mind must become the ultimate commander of all. To achieve a basic foundation requires the most disciplined of minds. It must be unwavering and detached. When mind and body realize oneness then spirit can soar beyond the heavens.
