Tips on how to find the perfect electrician for the job
STEP ONE: Look at the credentials.
Electrical contractors working in your home or office must always be licensed and insured in case of problems. Every electrician you consider hiring should be insured, bonded, and licensed. They should be willing to let you know their individual state license number. Also, always check to see if they have the appropriate insurance for general liability and workers compensation.
TIP: The potential dangers of hiring an unlicensed, uninsured electrical contractor are enormous. What would happen if that acquaintance” of yours who “knows a lot about electricity” gets injured while on your property? Well, usually, it’s you who would be held completely accountable for any injuries that they incurred while in your house.
STEP TWO: Get Those References
Ask for and call their references! You want to make sure that the company has a history of doing good work in the community.
STEP THREE: Take a look at their employees.
Some of the best electricians insist all of their electricians are regularly background checked and drug tested. This is a great sign that the company has your interests in mind before theirs. This process is quite an investment on their part, and it tells you right away that they have invested a great deal in their own staff.
TIP: See if the company is on any “best places to work” lists in your area. Good feelings between employee and employer translate to their work as well.
STEP FOUR: Getting a Price Up Front
Usually you won’t get the best price by bidding the project around to multiple electricians. Contact ones that you are interested in, and get a feel for their customer service (a real person answering the telephone is always a good sign!) THEN call one out to your home to create an estimate. A lot of electrician companies are offering first time discounts for first customers, and if not may usually try to get your repeat business by cutting the costs of that first job.
TIP: Develop a good, long lasting understanding with an trusted electrician. It is an almost certainty that you will call them more than once during your time in your home.
STEP FIVE: Trusting your choice.
Look out for the following when that electrician comes to your home for the first job:
A stellar electrician Always arrives at your door in a sparkling uniform. The top companies insist that their workers carry enough clean uniforms for every new job.
A stellar local electrician will have printed materials with their telephone, company name, license number printed somewhere.
A good local electrician will NEVER EVER do a job without getting the appropriate permits. Yes, you can always get someone to do a job cheaper and faster by not getting permits, but it puts you and yours at huge risk when you do so. What happens if you don’t pull permits and something goes wrong, like an injury? Chances are that your insurance company will make sure that the required permits were in place, and, if not, you may not be covered!
A good local electrician will always call you back within a business day or less, provide a well documented written estimate outlining all labor and materials, and put a time frame on the estimate as well.
TIP: What if the project unexpectedly “grows” at some point, and through no fault on anyone’s part you have to spend more to get it done. A A stellar electrician will stop and provide an written change order to the original estimate so that you know all new costs before commencing..
A stellar electrician company will certainly listen to what you want to have done, and then make recommendations based on their qualifications. There are a lot of things that need to be factored into an electrical rewiring project, such as: (total amperage usage, dedicated circuits for computers, high wattage kitchen work lights, vacuum cleaner usage, types of bulbs needed, existing wiring, etc etc)
An excellent local electrician will consider all of the ancillary things that you might not think about, explain them, and give you options on which direction you want to go.
A great electrician will always wear those sanitary shoe covers when on the job. They also won’t leave a mess of garbage and debris when they are through.
A great electrician will install equipment and parts that are designed for the long-term. Any time you have electrical work done, you should also keep in mind the resale value of your home/office. Good contractor grade electrical materials will certainly add to the value of your home, and will insure a great inspection report before the sale.
STEP SIX: Hiring your electrician
Before work begins that you have signed an reviewed estimate approved by you and the contractor. Make sure that you have have enough time for the work to take place (major electrical projects the evening before a big party is not wise!) Make sure that all correct permits are in hand and posted according to local code.
TIP: Don’t let just the price determine which company is awarded the project. Go with a company that you feel comfortable with, has good online references, and has open communication with you about the job. Good communication from an electrician is the best signal that they will do the job right, and that you can trust them.

Is anybody else sick of this Illuminati crap?
Mind you, I believe that the Illuminati exists but the problem is that people are getting it confused with the Bavarian Illuminati that was started in 1776. There is a doctrine called Ordo Templi Orientis (Latin for “Order of the Eastern Star) and the call themselves the Illuminati Order as well and it was modelled after and associated with Freemason and later adapted laws from Thelema, an occult doctrined founded by Aleister Crowley (sp?). In my opinion – ALL OF IT IS EVIL. But I think people are going too far and overboard with it. I do believe the artists Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye (and can match the symbolism), but people are going to far with the theories and it seems like their is lack or research and more of a witch-hunt gone awry. This is serious stuff and something that should not be thrown around like a game.
Well I don’t know all the inner workings nor do I care about the separation of different cults/societies. They are all evil and needs to be placed in check, immediately. This is all I needed to see with how serious these people are. Jayz, Beyonce, Kanye, etc. All of them are devil worshipers. Its a shame that conservatives were saying this since the beginning and no one listened. Now its starting to looking like the beginning of the end.
